Workshop Breakdown:

Week 1: Grounded & Strong – Laying the Foundation

  • Crow (Bakasana)

  • 8-Angle (Astavakrasana)

  • Shoulder Pressing Pose

  • Firefly (Tittibhasana)

  • Headstand Basics (Tripod & Supported)

  • Foundational drills for balance, wrist strength, & core control.

Week 2: Take It Up a Notch – Intermediate Arm Balances & Transitions

  • Flying Pigeon (Eka Pada Galavasana)

  • One-Legged Crow

  • Flying Splits

  • Fun transitions & play

  • Intro to Pincha (Forearm Stand)

  • Drills for hip mobility, core strength, & shoulder stability.

Week 3: Upside Down – Pincha Play & Handstand Prep

  • Pincha holds, wall drills, & balance tips

  • Conditioning for inversion control

  • Intro to Handstand: Alignment, entries, & confidence

  • Homework drills for inversion conditioning & shoulder stacking.

Week 4: Handstand Party – Building Confidence to Invert (All levels welcome!)

  • Beginner-friendly breakdown of handstand entries

  • Alignment, fear management, & spotting drills

  • Flow & play: handstand entries from yoga poses

  • Final take-home drill set & progression plan
